To make the Fibre Exploration Blanket you will need:

• 100g of 8ply/DK weight yarn in 5 different fibres – we’re using White Gum Wool, Calor Yarn’s Irish Tweed, Full Circle Fibres Cotton, Mulberry Silk and Bamboo (this is for 2 squares of each fibre)
• 150g of 8ply DK weight yarn in a different fibre – we’re using Blackwattle Alpaca (this is for 2 squares and joining)
• 3.75mm crochet hook (we’re using ChiaoGoo moso bamboo hook)
• darning needle
• Scissors
• Tape measure or ruler
• t pins or dressmakers pins for blocking
• ironing board
• iron
• the desire to make a beautiful blanket
• the desire to learn more about different yarn fibres
