choose what to make

Flourish is an adaptable pattern. Make one of the standard designs or go a step further and customise the pattern.

keep it simple and make one of the standard designs

Choosing one of the standard designs is the easiest way to crochet Flourish. They cover 2 yarn sizes – 10ply / worsted weight and super chunky, and there are 6 different things to make – square, cowl, scarf, wrap, throw and blanket. The amount of yarn and tools needed, crochet hook size, number of stitches and rows are already calculated and set.

customise the pattern for endless possibilities

This optional step is a great way to crochet Flourish with stashed yarn or make something different.

Changing the finished size, make something completely different, use a different yarn size or fibre, change the crochet hook size or tweak the pattern stitches. Be adventurous and make cushion covers, lamp shades, a favourite cowl size, the perfect sized blanket for the lounge, anything!

Use the included (and helpful) Flourish Calculator to work out the pattern details before crocheting.

the Progress Worksheet is a crocheter’s best friend

Whether making a standard pattern or going down the customised path, there is a Progress Worksheet to record progress and more. It’s a companion to the Pattern Reference Sheet for easy crocheting.

skill level – easy

The pattern includes simple stitch patterns and is suitable for crocheters that are familiar with making treble (UK terminology) / double crochet (US terminology) stitches.
