The Flourish Square is a portable project that can be easily taken anywhere as 1 ball of yarn makes 1 square – I pop them into my handbag to turn waiting time into crocheting time. Crochet a stack of them and then join them together to make blankets, cowls, scarfs . . . the options are endless.
finished size (after blocking):
- width – 26cm (10in)
- length – 26cm (10in)
yarn, crochet hook and tools to make it:
- 50g ball of Homelea Happy 10ply yarn (this will make 1 square) or 100m (109yds) of a 10ply or worsted weight yarn
- 6mm (J) crochet hook
- stitch markers
- scissors
- tape measure
- darning needle
stitches, rows and flower repeats:
- stitches in each row – 34
- flower repeats in each row – 6
- rows – 17
- flower (2 row) repeats – 7
