yarn, hook and tools

This pattern gives you the option to make it with either super chunky yarn or 10ply / worsted weight yarn. The size of the blanket and its patches are the same, with the size of the stitches varying (the super chunky yarn version has bigger, more textural stitches). What you need depends on what size yarn you’re using.

To make your Folded Patch Blanket you will need the desire to crochet a beautiful blanket, as well as . . .

about the yarns

Homelea Bliss and Homelea Happy are made from soft merino wool that is fully grown and processed in Australia with no overseas processing (it’s uncommon for an Australian wool yarn to not have some overseas processing). They both feel soft and last well with regular use.

Homelea Bliss is a super chunky / super bulky merino wool yarn that comes in 300g and 100g mini skeins. Homelea Happy is a 10ply / worsted weight that comes in 50g balls. Both yarns are available at homelealass.com.
