yarn, hook and tools – 5 colour, organic cotton version
There are a lot of different ways to make the Yarn Advent-ure Blanket pattern, but if you’d like to know what you’ll need to make the 5 colour, organic cotton version this is the place to be!
Here’s what’s needed:
- 2 skeins of 5ply Organic Cotton by Laines du Nord in 5 colours (total of 10 skeins) – orange (amber), dark blue (cornflower), light brown (natural), dark green (marine), light pink (shell)
- 3.5mm (E) crochet hook
- scissors
- tape measure
- darning needle
- pins for blocking
- blocking mats (or ironing board or something similar to pin into)
- iron or steamer
- the desire to make a beautiful blanket
Crochet 5 squares in each of the 5 colours, and then steam block and join them together seamlessly using this pattern and tutorials.
