12 flags joined together is 1.9m (6.3ft) long, plus the string for hanging on each end.

 

how to make a different size

Adjusting the size of the Party Bunting is easy. Here are a few different ways to do it:

• make the flags bigger or smaller: do more or less rows, or use a different sized yarn and crochet hook
• make the bunting longer or shorter: change the number of flags that are joined together

 

gauge / tension (after blocking)

• 10ply: 15 stitches and 9 rows in 10cm (4in)
• 4ply: 24 stitches and 16 rows in 10cm (4in)

The gauge / tension isn’t critical in this pattern. If the stitches are a different size to the pattern, then the bunting will be a different size and will use a different amount of yarn.
